Save the Climate

The Nomad offers resource savings of up to 75% for global electrification of traffic.

Nomadic Power has developed a simple concept for converting road traffic to electric vehicles – intended to achieve savings of 75% in total costs and resource consumption. The core element of this concept is the idea that not all future e-vehicles need to be equipped with huge batteries enabling long-distance transport. Nomadic Power has developed large batteries that can be hitched up when necessary for driving long distances, for the first time allowing future e-vehicle

Small is beautiful

It’s all about the size of the car battery

The topic of e-mobility has gained considerable in importance in recent years. e-vehicles are now more strongly represented on the market than ever. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors, believes that all traffic will have to be converted to e-vehicles in the medium term to prevent excessive global warming. According to his estimates, a capacity of 2 billion vehicle batteries (of which 1.2 bn. would be passenger car batteries) would be required for worldwide electrification of the transport sector. In order to also be able to cover long-distance traffic, large traction batteries would be necessary as well as a comprehensive network of rapid-charging systems on highways. This assessment corresponds to a global battery capacity requirement of 102,000 GWh.
